Monolith demolition in Cervantes Square
LOCATION: Cervantes Square, Lleida
YEAR: 2008
It is an obelisk erected in 1970. The structure is made of reinforced concrete plated with natural stone. Before starting the demolition, the forge sculpture attached to the lower front of the monument is removed, as well as the stork’s nest on top.
